it’s a heart-to-heart writing experience
It starts with you reaching out and sharing your story (or sometimes a few stories), and from there, I find the song living inside it. It’s a vulnerable, magical process where I get to step into your world for a moment and write something that captures it — for you, and because of you.
We work together one-on-one via email. I’ll ask questions, dig in a little deeper, and gather all I need to write and record a custom song that’s all yours. Once your song is complete, I’ll share it on my Facebook page and include it on the next Songs For You, Volume 2 album — where it will live forever, for the world to hear.
Imagine opening Spotify, pressing play, and hearing your story wrapped in melody — a moment frozen in time you can return to whenever you need it. A forever feeling. A song that lives on.

How the Process Works
The Song’s For You experience is $2500 and includes the writing and recording of your song.
Your song will be started once you have signed up and signed song contract. The Song contract will be emailed to you after sign up. From there, Dawn will take you through the process of sending your first email and getting the process started.
Your song will be featured, once finished, on Dawn’s socials. You will be able to watch the process of your song being written BACKSTAGE in Dawn’s fan club, where she shares behind-the-scenes content and all her songwriting as she’s working on the Songs For You projects.
It’s really a special thing to watch the song come to life.
You will receive an email after sign up that gives you all the instructions on how to join her backstage, where you can watch and be part of the process of your song becoming—and get to watch the first performance of it when it has been written.

When Dawn first announced the Songs For You project she was doing, I knew I wanted her to write a song for my story. Financially I couldn’t do it and the album slots soon filled up. I thought I had missed my chance. When she said she was going to do it again, I kept hoping that things would fall into place so that it would work for me this time around, and it did! Thinking about what story of mine I wanted a song about, I couldn’t stop thinking about my brother who had passed away. I kept thinking that maybe I didn’t want something sad or maybe something more relatable. How could it be about anything else though? That one event changed the lives of my family forever. When we think about someone passing away, we know that grief is hard and never truly goes away… what isn’t talked about much, living life and not getting to share the big moments. A little backstory. My brother, Jaydee, was killed in a rodeo while riding saddle bronc. He was just 18 years old. He had a baby girl on the way, she was born just 4 days after he died. She never got to meet her dad. We never got to see our brother in the role of a father. Now she has a baby of her own and he’d be a grandpa. Again, we don’t get to see him in that role. This is the type of thing that isn’t talked about much. I haven’t found many if any songs that really relate. Dawn with her songwriting talent knew exactly what information she needed to dig out of this shattered heart of mine. It was amazing to watch as the song came to her to see her post clips as new verses came. It wasn’t easy, I was vulnerable and just laid every raw hurt out there for her to pull from in hopes she’d find exactly what she needed. As you listen to the song you will see that she did. It is absolutely perfect! Our family now has something that will let our love for Jaydee and his love for us live on even after we are gone. Dawn truly has a gift and talent that is unmatched! To have the privilege to have a song written by her is truly one of the most meaningful things I’ve ever had in my life. Thank you Dawn for doing this project and helping heal my family a little more every time we listen to it! ❤️🩹❤️❤️🩹.
Back to Loving Me
When I found out about the opportunity for the Songs for you project, no questions asked I was signing up for that because Dawn is the one, if anyone that could tell my story without even really knowing me. She asked me to tell her what was on my heart. I was scared to death of being vulnerable and judged. At the same time I wanted to be truthful. The truth is at the time my heart was very heavy but, she made it easy to let my guard down. She made me feel safe and comfortable. She never once made me feel judged. I trusted her and I knew she truly cared and I poured my heart out to her truthfully and genuine. She doesn’t just listen to your story, she hears what you don’t say, what you need to hear and then she tells your story, full of justice, heart, love and understanding. As a result, for me, I felt like I was finally able to see for the first time all the things I choose not to believe. It felt like somebody finally cared enough to look and see inside my heart. It made it real. Dawn read between the lines of my story and gifted me with more than a song, she gave me a message. “Back on my way back to loving me” this was the insight I needed. I’ve always been insecure. I’ve always been good at loving other people, but never at letting other people love me. The truth is I never loved me for me and I spent my entire life, trying to be anyone but me. Dawn made that possible for me to see. Thank you, Dawn, for your kindness and authenticity. Thank you for giving me the gift of a song. A song, that gave my heart the chance to start healing, helped me to grow and I’m still working on my way Back to Loving Me. Thank you so much. My song didn’t cost me anything because to me it is priceless.
There’s not many things more valuable than memories of our loved ones and my song shares the three most important people in my life. It is a permanent reminder I can watch and to listen to any time I need to feel the love that will never die. 🎸💕❤
For my song “Keep Melting My Heart”, I was able to sit down with Dawn Beyer at the Fort headquarters in Eureka MT & have a whiskey drink (made by the wonderful Jenifer Beyer ) & spill my heart out for her to write this beautiful song for me which speaks volumes of what my heart is feeling inside for my girlfriend.. thank you Dawn for writing a song that speaks straight from my heart to the heart of my girl who lives miles away from me ♥️
